Makhana
Makhana (Euryale ferox), commonly known as fox nuts or lotus seeds, are harvested from the wetlands of Darbhanga and Madhubani districts in Bihar. The Mithila Makhana holds a Geographical Indication (GI) tag — this designation applies to the Mithila region of Bihar. Zarvello Agri Exim sources popped makhana in four commercial grades, available raw, roasted, or flavoured against confirmed buyer requirements.
